About Us

JNPA operates educational museum shops and bookstores for the benefit of the public and our partners. All of the items that we sell are reviewed by our partners to ensure historical accuracy and appropriateness for the site at which they are sold. Through these products, we directly educate the public about the importance of these historic and cultural sites.

Store proceeds, in turn, allow us to make significant financial donations back to sites to be used for educational programming, exhibits, special events and site improvements. Since our inception in 1961, we have contributed over $30 million dollars in financial and in-kind support to ensure that present and future generations can continue to enjoy these national treasures.

In addition to product sales, JNPA is honored to receive philanthropic contributions from individuals and institutions that support our work. As a non-profit organization, all proceeds fund our educational mission.

In 2011, JNPA was presented with the Greater St. Louis Top 50 Award by Commerce Magazine. The award is presented to organizations that significantly contribute to the St. Louis region and and that have a positive impact on the future of the business community. We are pleased to be recognized as a leader, and look forward to continuing the tradition of making good things possible for the St. Louis region, and beyond.
