This incredibly warm and functional cap is just like the toque that the voyageurs wore while transporting fur in the Northwoods during the 19th century.
The toque (tuke) was usually made of red or blue wool and used to keep voyageurs' heads warm in the northern latitudes as well as carry tobacco to prevent it from getting wet.
The hat size is 25 inches around, 12 inches deep and it has a small red tassle on top.
