Historical notes describe Christmas preparations in times past, when breads were baked for family meals and as gifts for friends and neighbors, Grandma’s cookie jar was filled and Christmas puddings were prepared. Many of the 78 recipes were brought from other parts of the world, including Europe and Asia, and transported by Clipper Ship and covered wagon.
